As a third-generation dentist at Advanced Dental Care & Aesthetics, Dr. Kiren is proud to be continuing her family’s legacy of exceptional care for over 60 years. Growing up in Westlake, OH, she always knew she wanted to help people, and dentistry became the perfect blend of science, artistry, and patient connection. She earned her B.S. from the University of Michigan in 2017, followed by her D.M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in 2021, where she met her husband, Dr. Sam! She completed a General Practice Residency at Summa Hospital in 2022, where she advanced her skills in comprehensive patient care.
If she wasn’t helping patients achieve their healthiest smiles, Dr. Kiren would have pursued a career as a veterinarian to combine her love for animals with her passion for care. Dr. Kiren enjoys traveling, skiing, golf, cheering for Cleveland and Michigan sports, and working out- catch her at Inner Bliss Yoga, or Orangetheory!
Dr. Sam grew up in Ebensburg, PA, earning his undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2017, followed by his DMD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2021. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Summa Health Hospital in 2022, where he gained advanced training in comprehensive patient care. Passionate about sedation dentistry, he finds it incredibly rewarding to help patients overcome dental anxiety, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident in achieving a healthier smile.
He is an avid golfer, but resorts to skiing in the winter when the weather doesn’t allow for hitting the links. In fact – if he weren’t a dentist, you’d likely find Dr. Sam working on a golf course somewhere. Off the course (or slopes!), you’ll likely find him cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Notre Dame Fighting Irish!
Dr. Alicia, a Cleveland native from the Westpark neighborhood, began her educational journey at Cuyahoga Community College before earning her Anthropology degree from Cleveland State University in 2014. She then completed her DMD degree at Case Western Reserve University in 2018, followed by a General Practice Residency at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center, where she had the privilege of serving veterans. Since joining ADCA, Dr. Alicia has been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care while building lasting relationships with her patients. She works hard to ensure every visit is a positive experience and truly enjoys seeing her patients regularly, hearing their life updates, and finding fulfillment in the long-term connections she’s able to create.
A nature enthusiast – Dr. Alicia enjoys hiking, bird watching, gardening, and relaxing at home with her pups. She’s a big fan of Cleveland Metroparks, which is why it’s no surprise that if she weren’t a dentist, you’d likely find her studying ecosystems as an ecologist or geologist.
Born at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina, and raised right here in North Olmsted, Dr. Steve is a proud 1980 NOHS graduate. He earned his B.A. from DePauw University in 1984 and his D.D.S. from the University of Michigan in 1988, followed by a General Practice Residency at MetroHealth Medical Center in 1989. With expertise in restorative and sedation dentistry, he is passionate about helping patients regain confidence in their smiles while improving their overall health. He takes pride in creating a comfortable dental experience, especially for those with anxiety.
When he isn’t providing our patients with exceptional dental care, Dr. Steve enjoys gardening, exercising, skiing, traveling, and golfing. An avid Cleveland sports fan, you’ll often find him at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse or Progressive Field. If he wasn’t a dentist, you might just find him in the cockpit as an airline pilot!
Hailing from Warren, PA, Dr. Barjesh’s journey in dentistry began while earning her D.D.S. from Case Western Reserve in 1990 after studying at Penn State. Following a residency at Metro Hospital, she partnered with her husband, Dr. Steve, to lead Advanced Dental Care & Aesthetics. She finds joy in building lifelong relationships with patients and educating them on the connection between oral health and overall wellness—especially when multiple generations return to the practice.
If she weren’t sharing her passion for learning & education by leading the ADCA staff, she’d likely be a teacher. Dr. Barjesh loves traveling, hiking, cooking, and cheering on the Cleveland sports teams!
